Being from Michigan myself, I wanted to pay homage to the history of the automotive industry of the state. With the Detroit region being “the birthplace of the automotive industry.” I chose to use a balance of vibrance and darkness in colors to create a happy, but somewhat shadowed vibe with the plate design.
